this week's index of delight...
My world, perhaps yours as well, is in need of assurance and hope.
Who you are is love.
Who you are is not the choices you make, the emotions you have, the accomplishments or the failures—none of that. That is not who you are, that is like the weather.
Who you are is love. And that never changes. You can do beautiful things, and you can do horrible things—none of that affects who you are. Those are just the choices you make, and you can always make a different choice.
But you are always love.
Thank you to my friend Tara Austen Weaver for sharing this quote from her neighbor in this morning’s newsletter. It landed for me.
What a surprise to visit a neglected garden in my neighborhood that’s in the process of converting to a food forest/collective P-Patch and find great swaths of sweet violets thriving in clumps of rough grass. I’ll take this as a very good sign of future abundance.
Share the above quote with someone you think might need to hear it and let the affirmation ripple out through a world very much in need of more love.

The colors of spring!! Thank you for sharing. I have always said the answer to pain and suffering is to love and love more. Your post/shared quote is wonderful.
