How wonderful a way to introduce kids to noticing color variations in things. It's a great introduction for 1st-graders. You taught me to see many more color gradations in a single flower/tree branch, etc. I like your 9-square layout best, and I must say, I have never run out of colors to put in them, no matter how "simple" the object. Bravo!

Thank you! While I sometimes run low on optimism, I never run out of colors…and the kids are a great way to claw my way back to optimism!
