Love seeing the blooming amaryllis. Your post last year prompted me to buy bulbs last fall. Even though they got a late start, one is blooming now with another hopefully by February. They are a welcome display during these dark days of winter. Thank you for sharing the ongoing beauty of nature.
My concern and disappointment has everything to do with the rapacious motivation and brutality of our government. Indeed I fear for the people of Venezuela (and Cuba, and Columbia, and Greenland)

Blooms are at their best in an empty space after the decorations and sparkle have been put away
